Why This Role Matters
You’ll be our very first sales hire, owning the entire revenue motion—from prospecting to close—while partnering directly with the CEO and founding engineers. Your technical depth will let you demo code-level findings, answer deep AppSec questions, and build trust with developers and CISOs.
What You’ll Do
- Own full-cycle sales for mid-market & enterprise accounts (inbound & outbound).
- Run highly technical product demos, and live code walkthroughs.
- Translate customer feedback into product and GTM insights for the founding team.
- Build repeatable playbooks, metrics, and early-stage sales infrastructure.
- Represent Corgea at conferences (e.g., Black Hat, RSAC), webinars, and community events.
You Might Be a Fit If
- Experience selling software to a technical audience (bonus: knowledge and experience with open source, security, and/or infrastructure sales)
- Demonstrated experience in scaling sales operations from the ground up, including setting up sales processes, CRM systems, and building a sales team.
- Strong discovery, objection-handling, and technical storytelling skills.
- Thrive in zero-to-one chaos, bias to action, and love owning outcomes end-to-end.
